Head Trainer
Chuy is the heart of Chavez Performance Horses. With years of experience in training top-tier performance horses, he leads the program with vision, grit, and a relentless dedication to horsemanship. His passion for the sport and sharp eye for talent continue to drive the barn's success.
Alex Banuelos
Assistant Trainer
Alex supports the training program with precision and consistency. He works closely alongside Chuy, supporting daily training, working with 2 year olds, helping bring out the best in every horse.
Dylan Jess
Assistant Trainer
His duties include daily care and management of the horses, assisting with training, coaching riders, and preparing horses for shows. Dylan takes pride in providing consistent, attentive care and helping both horses and riders perform at their best.
Ricardo Orlando
Ranch Manager
Ricardo keeps the entire ranch running. From managing equipment to handling repairs and maintenance, he’s the go-to guy for anything the property needs. If it breaks, he fixes it. If it’s missing, he finds it. He’s truly the engine behind the scenes.
Kathleen Cook & Ashley Jackson
Barn & Business Management
Ashley and Kathleen keep all the wheels turning. They manage finances, organize logistics, and handle day-to-day operations — all while wearing countless hats to support the team.
